My name is Grantham Watts, and I have been teaching in total about 20 years to students from all different nationalities and backgrounds. My specialty is business English since I am educated and trained as a public accountant in the United States. Aside from teaching at universities, I have experience working for many major multi-national companies both as an English teacher and as a businessman.

Before coming to Japan I was employed by the Hungarian Ministry of Education in Budapest, Hungary, where I was responsible for working to change the country's English language education system to fit EU standards, as a professor, an advisor, and as an administer of national and international business English exams.

I teach because I love teaching, and because I enjoy sharing my knowledge with other people. I bring a passion and energy to my classroom that can only come from someone who is working in a profession that they love. I completed my education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I received both my undergraduate degree and my master’s degree.
